Product Description

PETG (polyethylene terephthalate 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol) is a transparent, amorphous copolyester material. it is prepared by the condensation of terephthalic acid (PTA), ethylene glycol (EG) and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) by transesterification. Compared to PET (polyethylene terephthalate), PETG increases 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol comonomer; compared to PCT (polyethylene terephthalate), PETG increases ethylene glycol comonomer. The performance of PETG is quite different from PET and PCT. 12

PETG material has outstanding toughness and high impact strength, and its impact strength is 3~10 times higher than that of modified polyacrylates.
